OS X Mac Mail Setup

Open Mac Mail by clicking the icon from the Dock.

Click on Mail at the top then click on Preferences.

Click the + (plus) button in the lower left side of window.

Choose POP as the Account Type, Enter Digis Mail Account as the Account Description, and then enter the customer's Name and Email address. Click Continue.

Enter mail.digis.net as the Incoming Mail Server. Enter your email address as the User Name. Enter your as the Password. Click Continue.

Choose Password as the Authentication. Click Continue.

Enter mail.digis.net as the Outgoing Mail Server. Click Use Authentication. Enter the customer's email address as their User Name. Enter the customer's password as the Password. Click Continue.

Choose Authentication: Password. Click Continue.

Have the customer double check everything listed on this page. Click Continue.

If the customer would like to setup another email address Click Create Another Account; Otherwise Click Done.

Below are the Basic Account Settings.

To setup the SMTP Server Click Server Settings.

Enter mail.digis.net as the Outgoing Mail Server. Server Port should be 25. Authentication choose Password. Enter the customer's email address as their User Name. Enter the customer's password as the Password. Click OK.

To change how long a customer leaves a copy of mail on the server click on Advanced.

To close the Accounts Window click the Red Circle, then Click Save.
